Fall is here and I want you to try this Orange Liqueur Cake recipe. Sweet, comforting, aromatic. The cake mold used is of course from the unique company Nordicware.
10-12 cup cake tin

INGREDIENTS for orange cake with liqueur:
For the Cake:
200 gr. butter in temp. room
200 gr. cream cheese
300 gr. sugar
5 eggs
330 gr. flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp Nielsen Massey vanilla extract
200 gr. milk
Zest from a large orange
1 shot of cognac
THE RECIPE: Orange Liqueur Cake Recipe
In the bowl of the mixer, beat the butter with the cream cheese for 1 minute.
Add the sugar and vanilla and beat for 5 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, soda, salt.
Add the 3 eggs one by one to the mixer and beat until they are homogenized.
Add 3-4 tablespoons of the flour mixture and then the remaining 2 eggs.
Beat a little more and continue adding flour and milk alternately, starting and ending with the flour.
At the end, add the zest and cognac and mix well with a spatula.
Transfer to a well-buttered and floured cake tin, and bake at 175 degrees, resistance, for 45-50 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
Let it cool for 15 minutes and unmold. Sprinkle, optionally, with baking powder and decorate with orange peels!

TIP
**Grease your mold with butter, or oil spray and then sprinkle it with commercial breadcrumbs. You will see how easily even the most difficult design comes out, while you will be impressed with the cleanliness of the cake.
