Materials :
500 gr. self raising flour
250 gr. butter at room temperature
300 gr. sugar (you can add more for a sweeter cake)
5 medium eggs, and with 4 it turns out good!
250 gr. milk
1 tbsp Nielsen&Massey rose water
1 tbsp Nielsen&Massey almond extract
100 gr. grated almonds
For the frosting:
150 gr. powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp flower water
Almond fillet
There are not many ingredients and mainly its wonderful taste is based on the essences and natural extracts... Time to see the easy recipe for this Almond Cake with real almonds, which I dedicate to you.
Implementation:
In the mixer at high speed, beat butter and sugar for 5-6 minutes until fluffy, then add the eggs one by one.
It is the moment when we flavor the mixture with vanilla extract, rose water and almond extract. A spoonful is enough for each if it is Nielsen Massey.
Having prepared the flour and milk, pour them alternately into the mixture, starting and ending with the flour, always at low speed.
Once they are homogenized, stop the mixer and add the almonds, mixing with a spatula.
Transfer to a large mold (12 cups), well buttered and floured, and bake in a preheated oven, 180 degrees in the air, for about 1 hour, checking the baking.
Leave for 10 minutes and unmold.
Mix the powder with the rose water and pour over the cake.
Sprinkle with almond fillets!
Tip
Nordicware cake pans are easy to unmold and easy to clean if you have properly prepared the pan. We recommend that you use the non-stick spray for preparation, and if you wish, sprinkle with a little flour or breadcrumbs.
Important in the sweet cake especially, let the pan cool for 15 minutes before turning it over. You will see that the cake has come off the walls already.
